Elochukwu Ohagi in this piece said Abati's letter showcases his support with the oppressor against the oppressed. Dear Reuben Abati, Just as you have never met Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, I have never met you. I only started hearing your name during the government of Ex President Goodluck Jonathan. I have really not taken much notice of you until your recent open letter to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). I am hopeful this letter will get to you wherever you are. As the special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Ex president Goodluck Jonathan, I never really wrote anything ill about you. Even when EFCC arrested you for alleged mismanagement of the nation's funds during former President Goodluck Jonathan

Malcolm McDowell reflects on devilish role in 'American Satan', his raunchy film and big regret Malcolm McDowell is really good at playing the bad guy. The British actor has starred as a charismatic psychopath, a murderous Roman emperor and “the man who killed Captain Kirk” among his many villainous roles. So it’s no surprise that for his next film, he’s luring a wannabe rock band to the dark side, leading them down a path of fame, fortune and inevitably — destruction. The 74-year-old told Fox News becoming a mastermind of mayhem has plenty of perks, especially for the upcoming thriller, titled “American Satan". “We shot in the most iconic places on the Sunset Strip… all of these incredible clubs that are so iconic in American culture,” said McDowell. “The same place where Linda Ronstadt sang with her band, which very soon became the Eagles. Where Janice Joplin was. Where John Lennon sat in the audience and I’m sure got up on the stage. I was really fascin

Trump: Talking to NK's Kim a waste, 'will do what needs to be done' President Trump on Sunday sounded a war drum over North Korean leader Kim Jong Un refusing to de-escalate his nuclear weapons program, telling Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to stop wasting time negotiating with Kim because the U.S. “will do what needs to be done.” “I told Rex Tillerson, our wonderful Secretary of State, that he is wasting his time trying to negotiate with Little Rocket Man,” tweeted Trump, using his nickname for Kim. “Save your energy Rex, we'll do what has to be done!" Trump, a prolific tweeter, has been on a twitter tear this weekend, with nearly two dozen tweets since Saturday morning, most slamming San Juan Puerto Rico Mayor Yulin Cruz, a Democrat, for being critical of the administration’s hurricane response effort on the U.S. island. On Sunday, Trump returned to Kim and his pursuit of a nuclear arsenal, despite more U.S. and international economic sanction

Read the first Independence Day address presented by Tafawa Balewa in 1960  As Nigeria marks its 57th Independence anniversary, many citizens complain that the ideals of past leaders have not been met while others continue to blame the military over the challenges faced by the country over the years. However, 18 years down the line in the country’s democratic process, the country has continued with the very challenges allegedly imposed on it by the military. This time, the blame has shifted to politicians with some Nigerians even calling for the scrapping of a part of the National Assembly.  Sambazglobalblogspot.com presents the very first Independence Day address presented by Tafawa Balewa, then prime minister of the country, on October 1 Today is Independence Day.   IPOB:  Where is Nnamdi Kanu?   Editor’s note: The leader of Independent People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu’s whereabouts has continued to raise questions among Nigerians both locally and internationally. Two days ago, Nigerian Defence Headquarters dispelled the rumours that Nnamdi Kanu is in its custody.     Sambaz Global Blog gathered that a social commentator, Tony Ademiluyi, in this article, writes about the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu and the categorization of the group as terrorist.    According to radical writer, Tariq Ali, a true revolutionary is one who disregards personal safety in the pursuit of one’s beliefs. He cited Che Guavara who left the comforts of Argentina to fight in the jungles of Bolivia and died while in combat.      He never failed to also mention Malcolm X as one of his heroes who was to meet his waterloo in the heady, violent days of 1965. Unfortunately, there was a disconnection between what he espoused and what he practiced.    Duri
