Bradley Cooper's Ex-Wife Jennifer Esposito Reacts to His Chemistry with Lady Gaga
Jennifer Esposito has weighed in on her ex-husband Bradley Cooper‘s powerful connection with Lady Gaga.
During Gaga and Cooper’s intimate Oscars performance on Sunday evening, David Spade snapped a photo of the highly-speculated A Star Is Born costars.
While on stage, the on-screen lovers shared a piano bench, singing a stripped-down take on the track cheek-to-cheek before affectionately gazing into each other’s eyes, with Cooper wrapping his arm around Gaga’s waist.
“Is there any chance these 2 aren’t f—?” he jokingly asked in the Instagram caption, prompting many users to share their thoughts.

One of those users included Esposito, 45, who provided one simple reaction to Gaga’s relationship with her ex-husband, first captured by Comments by Celebs.
“Ha,” the actress simply wrote.

Cooper, 44, and Esposito wed in December 2006 but officially called it quits by May 2007, after four months of marriage. Since 2015, the actor has been dating model Irina Shayk.
Gaga, meanwhile, was engaged to Christian Carino for approximately four months before the pair officially ended things, her rep confirmed to PEOPLE exclusively last Tuesday.

Fans have long been enamored by Gaga and Cooper’s on- and off-screen chemistry, to the point where some online wanted their passionate performance on Sunday to end with a kiss.
Instead, Gaga and Cooper smiled and hugged as they walked off the stage. Their embrace continued backstage as the two were met with a swarm of claps from well-wishing production staff.
“Did I nail it?” asked Gaga. Taking in the congratulations, she looked at Cooper and said, “I’m so f—ing proud of you!”

With only a few seconds to get back to their seats, a handler disengaged Gaga from the mic-pack attached to the back of her dress — and Cooper and Gaga, side by side, made their way to their seats via the stage.
During the commercial break following their duet, the pair came out arm-in-arm to huge cheers and another standing ovation from the entire house. Cooper kissed and huggedShayk, 33, when he got back to his seat, and the model congratulated Gaga, whom Shayk cheered on throughout the night.
After “Shallow” won the award for Best Original Song, Gaga also sent love to Cooper in a teary acceptance speech.
“Bradley, there is not a single person on the planet that could’ve sung this song with me but you,” she said. “Thank you for believing in us, thank you so much.”

Spade and Esposito weren’t the only ones to publicly speculate about the costars’ electrifying chemistry. Mel B also recently provided her input after watching their steamy performance.
On Monday, the Spice Girls singer, 43, criticized Gaga and Cooper during Good Morning Britain‘s Academy Awards telecast, explaining that she couldn’t help but think about Cooper’s girlfriend the whole time.

“I felt so uncomfortable for Bradley’s girlfriend, oh my gosh,” Mel B recalled of the moment, according to video captured by The Sun.
Agreeing that the duo had “the look of love,” Mel B hoped that the energy between Cooper and Gaga was just for show.
“I would like to think it was part of the whole performance, because there’s a women’s code and hopefully that’s not,” she said. “Hopefully it’s only professional.”
“I cannot give him the minutes he deserves, so I’m sorry. His time is coming and I’m pretty sure he is going to play good.” Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola admits he is “sad” over Riyad Mahrez’s lack of playing time, but says the winger’s form is not to blame. Mahrez, City’s £60m record signing last summer, has had limited game-time this season, not starting a Premier League match since the victory at Southampton on December 30. The Algeria international has impressed Guardiola with his attitude on the training pitch, but the form of Raheem Sterling, Leroy Sane and Bernardo Silva has simply prevented him getting into the side. “I am the reason [he has not played]. He is absolutely not guilty,” Guardiola said. “I am sad because he is training incredibly. He is an incredibly talented player but in this moment we have five strikers. In the last games Leroy hasn’t played. “We have incredible players, like for example Bernardo and Raz [Sterling] in top, top form and...
